Season Foundation Announces 2022 Scholarship
Four Scholarships and Regions Listed for This Year's Application Process
PG County, Maryland — In March of 2021, the Season Foundation announced its first scholarship to plant the seeds for the community organization. The Foundation is now excited to announce the second round of scholarship applications.
For graduating seniors for the Class of 2022, the Season Foundation will be providing scholarships for Public School students in these four locations:
Prince George’s County, MD (PGCPS)
Baltimore City, MD (BCPS)
NEW - Washington, DC (DCPS & DCPCS)
NEW- Essex County, NJ (Various Districts)
Each region will have one recipient of a $1500 Scholarship.
When asked about the scholarship, Season Foundation lead Stephen-Michael stated:
“I am excited for what will be taking place during the second year of scholarship applications. There will be a better approach and more time given to students for applications. We will also bridge community partnerships to provide better access and visibility as well. The first round of scholarship applications were a good measuring point on how to virtually reach students; as well as I am looking forward to the second year of this initiative. It makes me happy to see this coming to life once again!”
The Requirements For This Year’s Scholarship:
Must be a HS Senior at a Public High School within the regions listed above.
Be enrolled as a Freshman in the 2022-2023 Academic School Year at a Four Year institution or Community College.
Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Attached Resume with Academic, Extracurricular, and Leadership history.
Provide the high school transcript (unofficial) from your most recently completed academic term. This should include your cumulative GPA.
Successfully fill out the Season Foundation Scholarship Application Form.
Final Round: Virtual Interview w/ Season Foundation Scholarship Board of an applicant's respective region

September 16th, 2021: Applications Open
March 26th, 2022: Applications Close
April 9th, 2022: Notification of Application Acceptance to Final Round
May 14th, 2022: Winners Announced

About The Season Foundation: The Mission of the Season Foundation is to even the disparities within Digital and Computer literacy. SF will serve as a resource to increase those literacies for high school students, college students, and urban areas.
In addition to increasing digital and computer literacies, the Season Foundation will serve as a funding source through scholarships, giveaways, and other community based ventures.
