When asked about Dakara Alexis Marie Reid, Stephen-Michael lead of the SZN Foundation stated:

“What struck me about Dakara from her final round interview was her dedication to serving her community. Between her high school, church, and her skills within the arts; she has shown her dedication to impacting as many people as possible. With this in mind, she set a standard and proved it in the process.

It amazes me that we are able to give a scholarship to a student that will be studying abroad to start her college career. As a native of the “DMV”, I am amazed at Dakara’s intelligence and journey to where she is now. I am proud to invest into her future!”

We wish Dakara all the best in her next chapter in London, England!
